Description

This is a 37-foot diesel pusher with a Caterpillar engine and Freightliner chassis. It's an all-wood interior with leather furniture, so there won't be any formaldehyde outgassing. This is loaded with everything from a washer/dryer combo to air brakes. As with any older motorhome, it'll need some work. We figure if you put $3,000 or $4,000 into it, you'll save $120,000 - $150,000 over the cost of a new one. Plus, you probably can't find a new one this well outfitted with it's real leather seating, artistic use of mirrors, and fine touches throughout for under a quarter-million dollars. Furthermore, the floor plan is excellent. There are two doors between the bedroom and the rest of the coach, so if you're traveling with others, you can have some quiet time. There's room around the recliner, so you could install anything from an electric piano to a workbench.

The engine and driveline are all running nicely. The tires are nearly new. However, the following items are not up to par:

The generator won't start. It turns over fine, so it's probably minor, like maybe a propane valve is turned off somewhere.

The rear air conditioner isn't working. For us, it stayed cool in the sun on days up to 92 degrees.

The levelers aren't working. The system isn't leaking. It may simply need more hydraulic fluid.

One window shade by the dining table is broken.

The cable to the rear television doesn't seem to get reception.

The passenger side window right behind the door is a bit fogged.

The paint is faded, the decals are cracked.

This does have solar panels on the roof, and I think they're are working nicely, but am not sure.

The thermostat ought to be replaced. It's hard to figure out.

The upper door lock is getting a bit sticky.

The toilet comes with an external spray hose that's not working.

The air horns don't toot.

When the air conditioner starts, there's a mildew odor.

There may be other things that I have forgotten, but I believe they are all minor.

All the important stuff is working fine: refrigerator, washer/drier, water heater, furnaces (2 of them), batteries, and so on. It runs and drives fine. However, it's been around a while, so we don't want to make any guarantees. This is being sold as-is.

This is a 1999 37-foot National Tradewinds with just under 100,000 miles.

Serious buyers only please. It's stored quite a distance from where I live, and don't have time to drive there to entertain tire kickers.

Please, no trades, no creative financing.
