This is a 2017 Open Range 308BHS made by Highland Ridge. This is a three slide bunkhouse travel trailer. This travel trailer is able to be pulled by a half ton truck if equipped properly.

We purchased this brand new in July 2018. We have used it only for local camping trips and have used it approximately 10 to 15 times. We have towed this a total of approximately 2000 miles as you can see by the pictures of the tires. The tires have plenty of life left on them.

 The reason that we are selling this is because when we purchased this, we were brand new to camping and we were unsure if we would like it. We purchased a floor plan that we believed would be easier to sell if we decided camping was not for us. In fact, the exact opposite has happened. We love camping and have decided to go to a fifth wheel. This has been a great camper and have made very good memories for us. 

This trailer has dual ducted air conditioning, the one in the bedroom is 13,500 BTU and the main air conditioner is 15,000 BTU. Both have their own independent thermostats and are ducting throughout the trailer.  This camper stays icy cold on even the hottest days.  We installed a TV/DVD combo in the kids bunk room that is on a lockable mount that pulls out.  This coach has all LED lights.  The kids will love the back bunk house as it provides their own space to get away from the adults. The booth dinette in the bunkhouse also turns into a bed so there could be four separate beds in the bunkhouse alone.

The outside kitchen has been amazing! It has a plumbed/real drain sink as well as a full size mini fridge for “dad’s beverages”. On the rear bumper there is a rear swinging arm for the propane grill that came with this model. We have never used it and instead have a Blackstone griddle that we use for all of our camp cooking. There are two LP connections below the outdoor kitchen that you could hook in a portable grill if you wanted. 

When we were shopping around for travel trailers, we chose Open Range because they seem to have very good quality on their products.  This is a widebody travel trailer and is 100 inches wide. Also, the main slides are also deeper than other manufacturers and you can tell when you step inside this coach that it feels bigger.  The roof has a PVC membrane instead of a standard rubber roof. Because of this, this coach requires no maintenance on the roof itself. You still need to check your seals and joints around roof vents, but the roof material itself requires no maintenance.  When we purchased this we also have all vents covered with max air vents. This allows the vents to operate even in a rainstorm.  This trailer has a King Jack which is a powered TV antenna.

This trailer is washed at least twice a year with a wash/wax combo and the nose is hand waxed as well at least once a year.
