Description
**SOLD**
2019 Thor Motor Coach Hurricane 34J, Bunkhouse!
Drop down bed over cab, king bed in rear, 2 bunks, easy conversion of table to bed, and pull-out bed in couch gives up to 10 sleeping spots. Great for family camping or tailgating at the game with exterior kitchen and 32" LED TV. The back has a King bed with nightstands at each end, along with a large closet, dresser, and TV. The bathroom is generously sized for a RV with lots of storage. In the kitchen, a residential refrigerator keeps things cold no matter how hot it gets outside, while the 3-burner stove, oven, microwave, and large counter space help you prepare food from the pantry or refrigerator. Towards the front, a large flat screen TV sits over the dining room table, with a comfortable couch available to watch. The two front captain’s chairs swivel for additional seating when parked, and the included dinette table can be put up between them. Onan 5500 generator, inverter, 2-house batteries, and solar panel keeps things powered up when shore power not available. There is lots of basement storage to bring whatever you need for a long camping trip.
Our family used this for a 2-month, 7000 mile trip around the west coast last summer. We wanted something that allowed a separate bed for each child without having to convert the table or pull out the couch each night. The drop-down bed over the cab and bunk beds worked perfectly. Family desires have changed and its time for another family to enjoy. Some of the questions so far:
Was it a rental? Yes, I purchased it from a rental company with about 15K miles. Our family used it without issue over our trek and I think its still in good shape.
How old are the tires? At least one is from Feb 2018 and I did not try and verify all of them as not all are visable from the front. The chassis was made in 2018, so I'm assuming all were about the same date. Expect to replace around Feb 2025 due to age.
How much is insurance? I paid about $800 this year.
How's the generator? It has about 85 hours and climing as I use it each time I show it.
Why selling? Family isn't in love with it and its too much money if we don't use it. I bought it at a good price used and am willing to sell it at a good price given its a former rental with higher than average miles for a 2019. Average retail is over $88K! You'll see that most 2018s on rvtrader have a higher price and there's a 2014 at $69K. This one's a 2019. Call and make an offer!
