This was the last model year of the first generation Sprinter, it has the 2.7L Mercedes 5-cyl turbo diesel - none of the wonky and problematic emissions equipment found on the second generation sprinters. This sprinter has the Green Diesel Eco Tune, increasing power and efficiency. I have reliably been getting 25-26 mpg on the highway at 70 mph. It includes a tuning device that allows one to easily switch back to the factory tune if desired, and it functions as a code reader for the OBDII system.

The camper is in excellent condition and this Sprinter Sportmobile needs nothing and is fully ready for another 13+ years on the road. All fluids are fresh synthetic. Recent maintenance includes new glow plugs and module, new tires, brand new Mercedes transmission fluid, differential fluid, fresh synth oil change, and new Nokian Rotiiva AT tires. Brakes are at about 50%. No fluid leaks or trouble of any kind.
