A note from the owner:
We named him STEVE but it’s okay if you want to change it. Josh and I work in film and television and we bought STEVE after we worked on and were inspired by the film CAPTAIN FANTASTIC (the bus Viggo Mortensen’s character drives is named STEVE). We own a special makeup effects studio called Monster Makeup FX and we wanted to go mobile with it and be able to control both our living space as well as the space we got our actors ready for shooting. We turned the toy hauler space and back living room area into work and prep space and hit the road. We traveled to California and 16 other states working on feature films and television projects. We even had a couple of the stars sign the back of it. More than anything though, the adventure brought us closer together and pushed our capabilities and allowed us to grow, professionally and personally. STEVE took us to Atlanta, where for the last two years we have been working on The Walking Dead, The Haunting of Hill House, the newest Jumanji sequel, Ozark, and so many other productions. We now don’t travel for work as much and are ready to settle down again (for a little while at least). STEVE doesn’t get out much anymore. It’s time for STEVE to take someone else and their loved ones on more journeys across this beautiful country. All his original beds and couches have been replaced, only the movie stars names remain. So while we are sad to let him go, we hope you will love him and care for him like we did.
