1984 U-haul CT 13 (Camper Trailer 13 ft). This is one of few U-haul campers. I think they made approximately 2,000 and only about 1,000 are still being driven around. I’ve eliminated the rust and applied a new undercoating to the frame. Also, I’ve replaced all of the bolts between the shell and the frame with solid stainless steel bolts. The propane lines have been removed and the appliances are all electric. What makes the U-haul CT-13 more durable than a compatible Scamp, Casita, Buro, or Boiler is that the sub floor was fiberglassed on both sides to prevent water damage from above and below. Also, they designed it with sealed hub bearings, and molded the shell with both an inner and outer shell for added insulation value. The campers were designed to withstand rental use and setup is really quick.
