This 40’ 2002 Double-slide Newell is ready to hit the road!

One of the most important things about Newell Coaches is that they are still made today at Miami, OK. They are custom built as a motor home (MH) NOT some truck chassis that’s morphed into a MH. This means that Newell has your coach on file and knows it inside and out. There isn’t anything they don’t know about how the coach was built. They can easily remodel the coach if you want to. The 40’ Newell is very rare as 45’ are today’s trend. This coach has 2 slides located on the driver’s side. Newell uses a type of airbag around their slides that deflate before extending then re-inflates after extension to ensure a proper seal. The floor is level and has no lip like most slides. The entry and galley have a marble type flooring with carpet everywhere else. There is a new residential size, side by side refrigerator/freezer that was installed in 2016. Everything is at your fingertips at the galley including a garbage disposal just like at home. There is a slide out trash bin too. A pneumatic pocket door separates the kitchen and bedroom. There is a vent over the spacious shower and the shower head is as good as any I’ve had in my home. The Potty is in a room with a separate door for plenty of privacy. It also has a tinted privacy window & a vented ceiling fan. The queen size bed is rounded at the foot. It also lifts for extra storage. In the very rear is a second pneumatic pocket door to the closet. There are places on both sides to hang clothes. A coach safe is located on the right side and a washer/dryer on the left. At the rear center there are 6 drawers all with a mirror finish on the front.

Newell coaches have so many features I can’t name them all: Doorbell, combination lock entry, auto door locks at the press of a button, locking refrigerator with a reminder at the driver’s seat weather it’s locked or not, cruise control, fast idle, an air powered entry door, automatic steps, Aqua-Hot hydronic heated system, HWH Computer controlled leveling system, and full air suspension to provide easy handling as well as a comfortable, well-controlled ride.

This motor home is equipped with a 60 Series Detroit Diesel that truckers call the Million-Mile Motor with just at 100K miles. The 20KW Kubota Diesel generator is very quiet and has been run less than 2,000 hours. The generator also slides out at the front for easy maintenance at the push of a button. The generator can be started from the Galley, the driver’s seat or outside by the generator.
