Donald Westphal is a Landscape Architect and Site Planner from Rochester, Michigan specializing in RV Park and manufactured housing community design.   Don received his Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture from Michigan State University and his Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Illinois.



In more than forty years of RV Park and manufactured housing community design, he has participated in the planning of more than 400,000 individual lots in nearly 1,000 developments.



Projects planned by the firm have won ten (10) Community of the Year awards at the National Manufactured Housing Congress in Las Vegas.   Don has written numerous articles on planning and imaging for trade journals, is a regular speaker at seminars nationwide, and is co-author of the books Navigating the Manufactured Housing Zoning Process and Renewing Your Manufactured Home Community.



Don is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.   He currently serves on the Manufactured Housing Institute Suppliers Division executive board, Green with Energy Star task force, and Educational Institute Board.   He is a board member and past president of the Michigan Manufactured Housing Association and is proud to have been inducted into the Recreational Vehicle/Manufactured Home Heritage Foundation, Inc. Hall of Fame in 2006.
