RV Park Work Camping Position

We are Rob and Jane Stafford. We are currently seeking a work camping position; Rob in maintenance/hosting or helping with computer systems, Jane in reservations/hosting/house keeping or other customer related positions.

 

SUMMARY: Rob has years of maintenance experience including pools, irrigation, landscaping and remodeling. He takes great pride in a job well done. Jane enjoys helping others and interacting with campers of all ages.

Maintenance & Reservations/store                            Oct 2009 to Present

  Rob’s responsibilities

• Maintain pool, 2 spas & irrigation system        

• Manage propane filling station (certified)        

• Plumbing, remodeling club houses

• Morning park run for late arrivals/non registered guests

• General handyman work

 

Jane’s responsibilities

• Register guests using Campground Manager Software

• Make reservations (phone & internet)

• Sell, stock & display inventory in store

• Open/close office, balance cash registers

Campground Hosts                                                       June 2009 – Sept 2009

• Manage two campgrounds & two day use picnic/boat launch areas
• Register walk-in guests and use online reservation system (reserveusa.gov)
• Collect fees for day use/boat launch areas
• Maintain & clean campgrounds, picnic areas, boat launch areas and five restrooms
• Paint, mow, edge and rake all areas
• Maintain & test for correct balance of chemicals in park water system
• Sell camping supplies, Day & Annual passes
• Maintain daily records of money collected from campground, day use & store supplies
• Provide information on area attractions & services
