My husband and I are presently living in Florida. We just finished managing Suncoast RV Resort in Port Richey, Florida and had been there for 2 ½ years (3 Seasons). My husband had recently been told he has C.O.P.D. and diabetes and he will be on oxygen for the rest of his life. So I am presently looking for work since the owner let me go because he needed a couple to work the park. We got a lot of the activities started with suggestions from our guests because they had nothing going on at all. We recently added new items to our front screen, club logos and special deals to help with the gas prices.

They didn’t have a recreation hall because it stuffed with all kinds of junk and garbage which we cleaned out, painted and got ready for functions. We set up lights for dances, parties, dinners, karaoke’s, etc. The guests loved it last season. We now have our own equipment to run karaoke’s so that’s a plus. There’s not much my husband can do now cause he’s on disability & has to where oxygen 24/7, but he could show guests to their site or do a karaoke show or do security to help cover on his part of the site. We left there this season with them being 50% booked for next winter season. Please feel free to call us. My husband Art is 53 and I’m 56 years of age.

We have a 1997 Dutchman travel trailer 31ft with a super slide in good condition.

One small dog-Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix-20lbs.

We’ve worked as workampers at 3 different parks in Texas 3 years ago so we know all aspects of the RV Park business.

Palmdale RV Resort in Los Fresnos, Texas where my husband only had to work. They had nothing for me so I had to try to find a job outside the park and I was well qualified just didn’t speak Spanish.

No money to be made there so we headed back to Florida and accepted the manager’s position at Suncoast RV Resort in Port Richey, FL

Suncoast RV Resort is a family park and we’re ready for a change with something more permanent. I would really like something a little more stable with a deceit income to support myself. We need to stay in Florida for the present time.
