This lightweight camper was our way of transitioning from van life to a towable. Lucy,. as we call her gets lots of attention. She's small but practical for people who like to go small (the opposite of go big). Lucy can sleep up to two (small-ish) adults and one child. But, she is Nu camp's 2020 Tab 400 Boondock Lite "Solo" floorplan. That makes her a nice choice for solo campers, too. This model has the Aldi system for heating the camper and for heating the water. And, it has a Cool Cat heat pump for heating and cooling. The wet bath is better than our previous camper van's bathroom. But, the wet bath isn't huge. So, it takes some getting accustomed to. Lucy or no name, whatever someone prefers, has a microwave, propane stove, a good amount of counter space, and a descent amount of storage for a small camper. But, it's for a more minimalist traveler.
Coming from a camper van, it's been easier to empty the black tank. And the wheels have independent suspension, along with upgraded tires.
Lucy has been a much appreciated upgrade from our previous camper van. But, my husband likes being a more minimalist traveler. So, he's done a simple build out on a cargo van, we call Quasimodo.
