Description

Selling our two-year-old Jayco 2022 JAY FLIGHT SLX 7 Model 195RB. Loved it but just need more room for our two (large) dogs. It is the perfect size for weekend (or longer) get-aways for two. Full details are available online but, in brief, it is the great-looking, long-lasting fiberglass body style, is 21' 10" long, and weighs 3030 lbs (unloaded). Hitch weight is ca. 300 lbs allowing this model to be safely towed by many SUVs or small pickups. Interior height is 6’6”, so standing up inside is no problem. Width is 7’1” and fresh water capacity is 20 gal. (gray and black tanks are 19.9 gal). It has a nice large refrigerator that operates off both propane and electric, a 6 gal gas/electric water heater, A/C, good furnace, a microwave, and a 100W roof-mounted solar panel with controller. Nice to know that the batteries stay topped up even while the trailer is sitting. There is a 10’ long, power-actuated awning. Tires are nearly-new, top-grade Goodyear Endurance ST205/75R14'D. Many upgrades have been made, including a top-of-the-line CARMTEK Keyless Entry Door Lock (operates via digital entry code, standard key, or remote Fobs), a TPMS system, a wireless rear video camera with two blind-spot cameras, two 20lb propane tanks (std is one), and two 90ah batteries (std is one). Also, we couldn’t live with the discomfort and lack of leg room with the bare-bones dinette (due to wheel-well intrusion) so we modified the system by raising the floor and installing two office-grade swivel chairs. The change allowed a comfortable place to sit and, since the raised floor tilts up, another place for storage. (The dinette is available if you want to switch back.) Storage is always at a premium in smallish trailers, so the rear “ward” has been converted to a large pantry, and lift supports added to the bed allowing full access from the inside to the entire forward storage bin (a great place to toss rucksacks, laundry bags, etc. The single-step fold-out entry stair has been upgraded to a quality two-step model, making stepping up into the trailer much easier. Stabilizer jacks have been added to the front to complement the standard two in the rear. The mattress is new still-in-the-wrapper. Two deep drawers have been added under the kitchen counter, making up for the lack of place for silverware, dishes and such (std is just an open cabinet). Finally, we added a shelf and doors to the open single-shelf along the wall where the early models placed the A/C. Included are standard items such as an RV drain hose, a water hose and an electric cable.
