"Catbird" has been a true joy! Sadly health issues force us to let someone else experience the joy. We have had many great adventures and fun. Keep in mind It is a 'Travel-Van' not a motorhome. However, it is comfortable for extended stays. The twin beds are very comfortable and are very easy and quick to makeup. You can also make-up a third bed using the front lounge seats and a included cushion. Storage both inside and in basement compartments is generous. When prepping and cleaning I was shocked at the pile of 'stuff' we were carrying. The Air Conditioner is noisy, in our opinion, but the overhead vent fan is quiet and pulls in outside air efficiently.
It is a dream to drive and easy to park. Highway speeds are comfortable and the turbo V-6 and superb gearing allows passing and maneuvering as required. Fuel mileage averages 17.1 mpg or 15 mpg if towing our matching color 2400 lb. Chevy Spark. The 4-point hydraulic self-leveling allows us to park and be set-up with utilities in less than 5 minutes. The Winegard Road-Trip T-4 allows passenger to stay up with TV news/entertainment while on the road. The 200 watt solar panel keeps the house batteries charged for brief stops without running generator. The 3.6 kw Onan LP generator is wonderful for warm weather stops if Air Conditioning is desired.
Off-season storage has been under cover. No exposure to winter roads. Only approximately 5 days near Gulf never close to shore. Two Mercedes Service appointments for normal service and to address Mercedes recalls. Last "B" service at 17,497 miles. No coach or van issues or concerns, everything now works perfectly as designed. No accidents or fender benders. One tiny rock chip in windshield.
