This is an excellent 1973 Airstream. It has a cozy sleeping nook, a quaint dining area, and a compact kitchenette for simple meals. Despite its vintage appeal, the Airstream surprises with its ample space and ensures comfort. It has a new bed, propane stovetop and oven, and propane/electric fridge. The latest installment is the composting toilet, which means no more black water dumping will occur. The exterior has a few minor dings but is in great shape. As far as hauling, it has an electric-powered hitch, which makes for easy lowering and hook-up. The interior had been completely redone in the last few years before I purchased it, including butcher block countertops, new flooring, latching cabinets, a new fridge, and a propane Suburban heater for the winter months. It has a 45-gallon freshwater tank as well.

I bought this a few months ago with the hopes of it being move-in ready, and I planned to make it a stationary apartment on my family's 10-acre plot, but the previous seller did not disclose some of the issues. The door handle broke after the first couple of days of use. I have a newer airstream-certified handle that I can include in the sale. It would just need to be installed by someone who knows how.

Also, the water lines were not correctly drained before winter, and no anti-freeze was put in, causing two sections of the copper pipes to burst. I have just had professional plumbers replace the most extended section with a PEX line, but after testing it, we found another section behind the shower that needs replacing.

I am at a point where I cannot sink more money into the project, so I need to recover the costs. In all honesty, this is a great project for someone with the knowledge and would not take long to prepare it for use. I was unprepared for the extent of the project, especially after the previous seller told me it was move-in ready. I am happy to provide more details for anyone interested. All in all, this is an excellent Airstream that, after a couple more days of work, will really boost and hold its value.
