Wacky West travel park sits on 3-98 acres and has 31 sites. included on this acreage is a bathhouse for the campers to use and a 100 x 84 ft building. The bathhouse has a woman’s and a man’s bathroom and 3 unisex showers. The bathhouse also includes a laundry room with coin operated washer and dryer. It also contains a small room that has the hot water heater and a space to store anything you wish. We store our fertilizer for the grass on one side and a shelving unit that holds all of our paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, ect. By the bathhouse we have swing sets, jungle gym, and a sand box for the children to enjoy.

On our lot, we have 19 sites with 50, 30, and 20 amp hook ups and are 50 ft long. Are site also include water, sewer, electricity, cable TV, and WiFi internet. We just installed 12 new sites with 50, 30 amps and weatherized (so we can use these sites in the winter time!) ! They range in length from 40 ft to 60 ft lots. There are a few trees out on the sites that provide shade, but when we bought Wacky West 10 yrs ago the sites didn’t have any trees. We have been planting since and the trees are slowly but surely are getting big. Along with the new sites, some other improvements that we have mad to Wacky West include a new roof, repainted building, new signs, and some other small improvements.

Our 100 x 84 ft building contains an office, meeting room, workshop, room for a store, another office area or craft room. a room that could be an office that we have changed into a bedroom. A long room to do book work in if you wish. another room that we use as a bedroom with a ½ bathroom attached. This building also has a living quarters. We have 2 bedrooms, bathroom, living room, kitchen, laundry room, and a pantry.

Some other information about Wacky West is that we are located next to the scenic Cowboy Trail. This trail used to be a railroad but they have converted now into a trail that stretches almost all the way across Nebraska. So with a short brisk walk or bike ride down the Cowboy Trail, you can walk out to the old railroad bridge and see the ever famous Niobrara River, that is used for canoeing and tubing in the summer time, big attraction for Valentine. Or you could walk the other direction into downtown Valentine. Valentine is only a small town of about 3,000 people but everyone in Valentine is friendly.

Wacky West is just a pebbles throw away from a movie theater, a grocery store, and a discount store as well. It wouldn’t take more than a hop, skip, and a jump to get to some of our wonderful restaurants in town for a bite to eat!
