has a population of 10,500 and an elevation of 5,985 feet.
Trinidad is a busy coal mining and railroad center and has had
an increase in population due to gas and coal mining interests.
The downtown is
known for it’s architecture and brick streets. The city is
located on Interstate 25 and has a Junior College and a regional
hospital.
The Budget Host
Motel and RV Park is located off the east side of exit 11. The
motel has 26 units and the RV Park has 16 spaces. All units
have door parking, cable TV with HBO and free wireless high
speed internet access. There are two suites included in the 26
units. The property is located on approximately 3.37 acres and
provides room for expansion. The property has cooper plumbing
and city water. The sewer is septic and works very well.
The motel is a
single story and two story construction with newer paint,
seamless gutters and newer carpet in the units. There are 16
singles and 10 doubles and all units are in excellent
condition. The 16 space RV park is behind the motel and is full
most of the year. The large Derrick sign is in front of the
motel and is seen from I-25 for miles. The 16 space RV has
showers and cable hook-up.
The living quarters
are two bedrooms with kitchen, living room with fireplace and
the office is located in front of the living quarters. There is
a private back yard for the owners. The property faces the
Sangre De Cristo mountains and is across the street from
Wal-Mart.
