Work Camper

We have a small, (97 sites) rustic, wooded campground in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley Virginia, nestled in the George Washington National Forest and at the base of the Massanuttun Mountains. We have the early part of the summer covered. We need extra hands to get us through the end of the summer into the Fall leaf season. This job is from July 10 through November. We are looking for people who are energetic, fit, capable and willing to dive in where needed! Get dirty and have fun....oh, and work hard now and then! Clean Team Duties may include, but not limited to: keeping our restrooms, shower rooms and laundry sparkling   clean the 5-kamping kabins and 2-deluxe Kabins, keep litter picked up, painting and helping with minor repairs and misc. outdoor tasks. Pool maintenance a plus.
You will not be asked to work at the registration desk unless you want to learn the Kampsight program. This is a good position for first time KOA Work Kampers who want to become familiar with KOA expectations and culture.

We also have a short term Store Clerk position open.08/01/12. Experience with KOA Kampsight a must.

  We ask 14 hours per week, per couple in exchange for a Full Hook Up site.  propane at cost, full use of campground amenities, 20% store discount, days off together, 4 day work week (if desired). All hours after the 14 are paid.
