Small resort located
in Darby in the
Bitterroot Valley of
southwestern
Montana. Looking
for part time
managers of seven
cabins and five RV
sites. Need
dependable couple
who are non-smokers,
team players endowed
with people skills,
and in good physical
condition.
Live onsite in your
own RV and fill in
for owners. Work
camper management
position is very
flexible. Owners
are on duty most of
the time, leaving
backup couple plenty
of time to come and
go as they please.
In exchange for full
hookups, duties
include office time,
lawn maintenance,
light building
maintenance, and
occasional help with
the laundry and
watering plants.
The office time is
spent answering
phone calls, making
reservations and
checking in guests.
The only time spent
in the office is to
check in guests or
to help a guest with
a problem. Workers
will have a cordless
phone and intercom
in their RV when on
duty which means no
sitting in the
office all day.
Lawn maintenance
requires mowing a
couple of times of
week at most on a
zero radius riding
lawnmower and
monitoring the
irrigation system.
Cleaning the cabins
is not one of the
duties as owners
hire housekeepers.
In
addition to relieving
owners for a few hours
each week, there will be
times during the season
that owners will want to
get away for an extended
period of time (long
weekends or an
occasional week break).
At that time work
campers will be required
to take over management
of the resort and will
be paid in addition to
the full hookup site.
Preferred commitment is
from approximately
mid-May through
mid-October.
