CAMPGROUND ASSIST TEAM (WORK CAMPERS), NEW BRUNSWICK, CANADA


We are searching for a Work-Camper Duo / Campground Assist Team who will help with seasonal operations of a small and peaceful campground overlooking the St. John River situated in the province of New Brunswick, CANADA.


Our Helpers (who were with us for several camping seasons) have decided to move on to other opportunities and we are looking for a responsible adult couple to team-up with the campground owners and assist with the physical operations from May through October.


Our campground is small, consisting of 29 sites (21 seasonal, 5 rental units and 3 off road sites). It's not huge, but there is enough work so the owners (a retired couple) would like to find another couple who will share the workload in exchange for full service hookup for the season.


Type of work that will be shared between the work-campers and owners includes cleaning rental trailers, keeping the campground neat and tidy, repair and maintenance, customer relations, gardening (includes mowing and trimming), cut and haul firewood, help with projects and activities, garbage pick up and relaxing and enjoying the country atmosphere and the company of people in our community of campers.


Qualifications:


Possession of a valid drivers license
Able to perform physical work activities
Background and reference checks will be requested
First Aid Training
Other experience with campgrounds, tourism & hospitality industry or other helpful trades (i.e., farming, maintenance, carpentry) skills would be considered an asset.
